Consignment Opportunity

Here are Tamarack Marketplace we are looking for new and exciting works to fill our consignment spaces. These spaces consist of areas in our Conference Center, Theatre Lobby, and various walls throughout our Retail areas where your work could have the chance to hang for a longer extension that our Gallery's exhibitions.


We are looking to obtain work that appeals to the Fall and Winter season of the Appalachian Mountains. This can be subjects ranging from the vibrant foliage of Fall to the crisp white landscapes of winter, a warm fireside gathering or a cozy mountain cabin evening, or even the wildlife celebrating their own joys of the season. Bring all your frames of the season for this chance to have your work featured in our extended collection!

** This collection will run through the Fall & Winter months of 2024 - 2025, after which a new collection will be assembled for the Spring & Summer months.


Be sure to read through the following checklist before continuing your application.

  1. Ensure your entries comply with our Gallery Guidelines, which are available by request.
  2. Sign in to your Submittable account.  
  3. Enter name, address, and contact information in the provided text boxes below.
  4. Upload images of up to six (6) entries below. Multiple images of each entry are permissible for the purpose of showing fine details. Image submissions must be in .JPEG format.   Image submissions must be in .JPEG format. Image submissions should be 300ppi and no larger than 2400x3000 pixels.  Please name the file of each image that you are uploading with your last name and the title of the work, separated by an underscore. Example: "Lastname_Title".
  5. Be sure to include a title, medium, price, dimensions, and a brief description in the corresponding text boxes.
  6. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the Submittable service if your application has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt, please contact the gallery office at 304-256-6843 ext. 7329/7343 or gallery@tamarackwv.com.

SMALL PACKAGES 2024

Tamarack Marketplace presents our signature exhibition that has been a fan favorite in years past. The exhibition of small dimensions is ready to make a glorious impression once again just in time for gift giving season. We are on the hunt for artworks no larger than 12in x 12in (or up to 144 square inches – for any queries, please get in touch). As the festive season approaches, these petite masterpieces make the ideal gifts. Let your imagination run wild; any theme is welcome! Just remember to adhere to our gallery’s guidelines and embrace the festive spirit by crafting wonders within compact confines.

The David L. Dickirson Fine Arts Gallery invites artists to present two- and three-dimensional creations that, although small, leave a lasting impression.


Exhibition Run: November 19 – December 28
Image Submission Deadline: Sunday, October 20
Decision Notifications (sent via email): Wednesday, October 23
Drop Off Deadline for Accepted Work: Saturday, November 9
Work Pick Up Deadline: Sunday, January 12
