Consignment Opportunity

This opportunity is open solely to our Tamarack Juried Artisans who specialize in Fine Art (ex. painting, drawing, photography, etc.). If you are not a member of this group, please contact our gallery for more details or visit our website Jury Process - Tamarack (tamarackwv.com) to learn more.

Here are Tamarack Marketplace we are looking for new and exciting works to fill our consignment spaces. These spaces consist of areas in our Conference Center, Theatre Lobby, and various walls throughout our Retail areas where your work could have the chance to hang for a longer extension than our Gallery's exhibitions.

As the seasons change, so do our displays, and we are looking for handcrafted pieces that celebrate the beauty, mood, and colors of the latter seasons. Whether your work reflects traditional fall imagery—like colorful foliage, rustic harvest, or breezy autumn mornings or chilling winter displays—like snow-covered landscapes, cozy firesides, or festive celebrations we’d love to see your creations. Bring all your frames of the season—figurative, abstract, or non-objective—for this chance to have your work featured in our extended collection!

This collection will run through the Fall & Winter months of 2025, after which a new collection will be assembled.

Be sure to read through the following checklist before continuing your application.

1. Ensure your entries comply with our Gallery Guidelines, which are available by request.
2. Sign in to your Submittable account.  
3. Enter name, address, and contact information in the provided text boxes below.
4. Upload images of up to six (6) entries below. Multiple images of each entry are permissible for the purpose of showing fine details. Image submissions must be in .JPEG format.   Image submissions must be in .JPEG format. Image submissions should be 300ppi and no larger than 2400x3000 pixels.  Please name the file of each image that you are uploading with your last name and the title of the work, separated by an underscore. Example: "Lastname_Title".
5. Be sure to include a title, medium, price, dimensions, and a brief description in the corresponding text boxes.
6. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the Submittable service if your application has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt, please contact the gallery staff at 304-256-6843 ext. 7329/7343 or gallery@tamarackwv.com.
7. Decision notifications will be distributed via Submittable as decisions are made. Appointments to drop-off for the accepted pieces can be scheduled here - Book time with Gallery.

Small Packages 2026

Big things come in “Small Packages”! Tamarack Marketplace is bringing back our fan-favorite exhibition, where tiny treasures steal the spotlight just in time for the gift-giving season. We’re calling on artists to think small – literally. We’re looking for bold, imaginative works that measure no more than 12″ x 12″ (or 144 square inches). Whether it’s 2D or 3D, festive or funky, classic or quirky – we want to see how much creativity you can pack into a compact space. These little gems make perfect holiday gifts and unforgettable keepsakes. So go ahead, shrink your masterpiece, scale down your vision, and show us that size doesn’t matter when it comes to making a lasting impression. Let your imagination run wild (within the size limit, of course), and help us fill the David L. Dickirson Fine Arts Gallery with small wonders and big holiday spirit!

Exhibition Run: November 21st – January 11th, 2027
Image Submission Deadline: October 2nd – October 17th
Decision Notifications (sent via email): October 21st
Drop Off Deadline for Accepted Work: November 7th
Opening Reception: November 21st from 1 – 3 PM in the Gallery
Work Pick Up Deadline: February 1st, 2027
